Excellent. Took my autistic son for his first ride today. They were very accommodating, let him wait off to the side since he cannot stand in line for anything, and we got our own train that didn't stop as they normally do half way through. Made my son's day. Highly recommend.
We were lucky to come across this in our travels. Our two young children had a lot of fun. It would be a great place for a picnic or birthday party. Price seems incredibly inexpensive and the train ride was fun. I was impressed how the conductors were quite professional and concerned about safety while operating the train. For a volunteer run park, they are doing a great job. Check it out.
What a cool place! As a dad that played with model train sets as a kid this is as cool as it gets. The kids were also in love with it as well. Travelling in the trains and seeing the sights. Also the fact that all the guys working their volunteer their time make the whole place more then affordable. They really should raise their prices as its a steal of a deal.
This is a great place to bring the younger kids! I would suggest 8 and under unless your child is really into trains. The birthday party areas are awesome! We have had 2 parties there and they were great.
We visited it last weekend. Ideal for little ones ages 3-7. They have different locomotives and prices a very reasonable $3 each ride. They have a very small playground (but... Who cares! We were all riding the trains!) And a hall to celebrate birthday parties. The store has toys, books and snacks (no ice-cream, sorry). Free gravel parking available. A great place yo take the little ones!
