Great sports bar. Wide open with 2 large video walls. Their brisket was very good as were the fries. Only real complaint was potatoe salad. Little dry. Service was fast and friendly and prices were very reasonable.
Main Street Beer and BBQ is more than just a good place to eat. I could go on and on about the mouthwatering smoked brisket, the fall-off-the-bone pork spare ribs, or their smoked, flavourful wings, but I won't. I could even wax poetic about the perfect little cornbread muffins with honey butter, or the mountain of savoury pulled pork they bring on a platter. But that would be pointless. I won't bother telling you about their life-changing Hot Mess either. That one you'll have to figure out for yourself. What I will tell you about is their fantastic customer service. Not just within the restaurant but all places. I ordered a meal for my family and brought it home. It included mountains of meat, 2 orders of Brisket Tacos (everything separated so I could assemble at home), Hot Mess, etc... When I opened up the order, I was dismayed to see that although they separated everything for my tacos as requested, in the midst of all those containers they forgot one of the brisket ramekins. Needless to say I called them to point out the error. The waitress who I spoke to was apologetic and said she'd look into it right away. Meanwhile, we dug into the rest of the food. I received a phone call a few minutes later from one of the management at the store (I've seen him/spoken to him before in the restaurant before). He offered to bring me the missing component immediately. To my house. In his personal vehicle. Moments later, he arrived with the missing meat, in addition to some extra dessert to make up for the oversight. Needless to say, I was convinced that this place will be a mainstay for me, my wife, and any friends I speak to about wanting, nay, NEEDING a good meal in Airdrie. Kudos, Main Street. Give yourselves a hearty pat on the back.
Main Street Barbecue has great atmosphere, friendly staff, and fabulous food. Their meat is top notch and reasonably priced. Their cornbread is what all cornbread strives to be. And their macaroni salad is better than any other I've had. Their food is just as good when you order delivery too.
Meat fest. Everything from the smoker is great. I'm very partial to the brisket. Good beer selection and giant tvs. They have several long tables for big groups. I have only been there for lunch but people tell me it's a pretty busy place at night too. Servers are nice but since I'm usually in a bigger group it can be a little frazzled. Not their fault though they always try their best. Highly recommend to any carnivores out there.
We have always enjoyed all of our visits here. Their food is incredible, with their beef brisket being one of my favourite things. The beer selection is also one of the best. They carry Babes Blueberry Vanilla Ale on tap, and you should definitely do yourself a favour and give it a try! On top of the food/drinks, the servers and staff are extremely friendly and they make sure you leave happy! Highly recommended.
