Staff is extremely nice
I booked an appointment here to get my hair cut with a specific stylist. I usually don't book appointments here but it being right before Christmas I was on a VERY tight schedule. I show up for my appointment only for them to inform me that the stylist I booked with was not there and that the two people working there were busy, and the next lady was showing up in about 20 minutes if I wanted to wait. I tell her that I was on a really tight schedule and that I had booked an appointment to avoid this type of situation but that I would still wait for the next stylist as I needed a cut and this was my only spot of free time to get it done. I waited for 45 MINUTES and still no other stylist showed up. Meanwhile as I was waiting one of the other stylists chatted with her client at the front desk for 15 minutes as she was paying. Once she was done with her she talks to the other stylist about how the girl who was supposed to show up is late for her shift and "well does she ever show up on time?" All the while neither of them spoke to me. Even if they had reassured me that "sorry! we'll get to you right away!" I would have been perfectly happy. I ended up just grabbing my things and leaving. What is the point of leaving your name and number when you book an appointment if they aren't even going to inform you of changes in staff? The customer service here is so bad its appalling. Most of the stylists seem to not care one bit about people sitting around waiting. If I've walked in for a haircut and end up waiting a while then so be it, I realize that risk when I don't have something booked. But when I've called a day ahead to book a specific time? I mean come. On. I will still get my hair cut here, but only because its cheap.
I'm all about how the customer is treated. I brought my 3 boy's in today to get them a haircut. She said it was about a half hour wait, which I honestly expected. So when I asked if there was a better time for me to come in as my 2 year old would not have the pateince to wait that long. She rolled her eyes at me, and said" well I need to take a lunch and its already almost noon. Im the only one for walk ins" * as there was another hair stylist in the back* i get she needed a lunch but that was not the answer I needed for my question of is there a better time for me to come back. I took my children else where and had a way better customer service experience.
