best school i have been in since i was born. all teachers and supper helpful and top of the line tec, makes me smile for how much people love their job

A student told me he was going to rape me.... and because he "clearly has mental issues" I was supposed to drop it. Administration did nothing about a child saying he would rape me, the gym teacher had to get involved when I was put in a group with him. He keeps creeping on me and its weird but I don't go to the office cause they don't help with anything at this school other than getting money and donations for their own personal gain.
I wish they would offer an after school care program, some grade 5s are still only 9 or 10 years old...
Because most of these reviews are done by students, I will give a parent review based on my experience.Teaching styles are definitely different. Most beyond the spectrum of a parent helping the student out due to them getting rid of the "old way" and when the child does the old way, it is not helpful to the student, hence the student not being able to get help from home.Communication with some teachers is futile. Valid concerns are often shut down and re-routed to blame the child, not the situation.School spirit is a huge part of the atmosphere.As a parent, I am giving 3 stars. Are my kids happy there, for the most part. As a parent, I see them struggle with bullying, sexual harassment, teacher conflict of pets verse hard to teach kids in the classroom, less focus on textbook learning and more on telling them what to learn and letting them go off to learn it.If I could move my children to another school, I would, but, I can't, so we put up with the days they are unhappy, frustrated and emotional.
