I bought a lovely pair of Keen walking shoes for my trip to Europe and the customer service was excellent! The sales agent helped me find the perfect fit/colour, and showed me a clever way to thread the laces called a loop system to prevent heal slippage. The price point was identical to what I would have paid at MEC or Keen online store but the service is so much better. I would highly recommend buying good quality shoes here and support local shopping.
Lots of selection. But Aug 2 when I was there, the service was poor. My Doctor prescribed a shoe for my injury and clerk tried to talk me into a different shoe because she was out of stock of the one my doctor had advised. She said she had been having problems with that shoe rep. She did not bother to call to see when they would be available, nor did she offer to order in. She just kept trying to persuade me to buy the other shoe.
A really great place to go if you need a quality pair of shoes. The lady who owns the store and is very helpful if you have any questions. It is definitely more expensive than if you were to go to Walmart but the quality and service more than make up for it.
