Went there for a completely new do and colour. Renee wouldn't do a complete dye (which I wanted), did highlights that i pretty much already had, and ripped my piercing when she was washing my hair, which was too rough. My piercing was bleeding, I wasn't happy that she didn't dye all of my hair, and there were some rude comments made about the other person getting their hair done. Not the greatest experience (my piercing ended up falling out after she had caught it). Won't be going back
There's always a warm welcome from Marianne, Judy and Alicia! Alicia does a professional and amazing job on my hair. I have been going to Alicia since 2015 and every time she has suggestions for something fun and new. I never feel rushed. Marianne makes sure her staff takes regular upgrading courses to keep things fresh. My mom and brother also go to Alicia. And Judy was our hairdresser before 2015 at another salon and it was so great to see her join the team at Envy! Their product lines are excellent quality, from high end to affordable. Way Over Priced Salon! Don't expect walking out with what you wanted. If you give them a photo to use, they don't follow it and you get something you didn't want.
Had my hair done by Alicia, was an awful experience. I had recently had my hair bleached and toned, then went fully into a hot tub and my hair started going all sorts of tones so someone recommend I go to Alicia, I was hesitant after seeing some past work. But went anyways. I went in and told her my situation, everything my hair had been through, asked if she could just re-tone it and if she could do it without really damaging my hair please just darken the hair. She said it wouldnt be a problem but they would have to bleach it again. since I had it bleached not even 2 weeks prior I was nervous but she reassured me. Anyways, she put a heat activating bleach on. It was BURNING my scalp. Like I kid you not it was as hot as my straightener gets. The friend I was with felt it and couldnt even fully touch the head thats how hot it was. So I told Alicia, and she says thats fine thats what its supposed to do, but at this point my skin feels like its melting so I asked her to take it off. She rolls her eyes and leaves the client that she took while she was with me and washed it out. at this point my hair is falling out in CHUNKS. and not any lighter than it was before I entered the salon. She then tones it and its left with a purple tint around the face, which I didnt mind but washed out (like it should) within a week and my hair was back to orange. Anyways, by this point I couldnt get a brush through my hair, it was like straw. I was doing hair masks every second day, so I was like, Im either shaving my head or going back brown and letting it get healthy. I went brown. This was back in October, its now April and my hair still isnt healthy, there are pieces up top (that she fried) that are barely even an inch. I paid almost 200$ for this and have probably spent over 500 since on treatments trying to get my hair back. She did offer a complimentary deep condition but I was too embarrassed and mad to go back. also the whole time I was there she was extremely rude and degrading making me feel more self conscious. I do not reccomend. But hair benders has been good trying to get my hair back since.
I generally have commitment issues when it comes to stylists. That said, I have been so comfortable with Envy, their professionalism which equally is matched by their joviality. Additionally, Renee has cut/coloured/styled by hair several times now; I've been impressed each time. I have now found "my spot" and am certain it'll be yours if you give them a try :)
