I have been coming here for a long time but me and my sisters will not come back. Staff does not know English. The only one that knows English is Alice - she is an old woman who is very rude. She yells at you and is very rough with hands. Then she gossips about you to the other techs and doesnt try to hide it. If that's not enough - she begins to randomly sing as she does your nails and she sounds like my old cat. Bad quality. They do not have fixed prices - they decide once you get to the till. Avoid this place.If the man starts to work on your nails, I hope you brought a lunch and dinner with you. He is a turtle. ps. her butterflies look like bumblebees
I entered and asked if how fast they could do a fill, having only 40 minutes to spare myself. They asked me how long I had, I said 40 minutes. They said they could so I sat down. The nail artist did an amazing job and quick, then she had another client and a man took over to lotion and take my payment. He proceeded to lecture me about not having a full hour to take the time to not rush. Don't lecture me after you say you can do it. You could say no and I would've come back when I had more time.Secondly I told my sister they did a good job of my nails anyway so she came to your shop today. A man did her nails. He took 1.5 hours, 30 minutes longer than women who came in after her. He did not do the hand massage/lotion, and her nails look terrible. They are round on one corner and square on the other corner and she asked for two colours and they are unevenly done and he left polish on her hands. He lectured her about how she chose and expensive colour for her tips and how she should choose a less expensive colour but he didn't tell her that until after he had painted her nails.Unimpressed. That man ruins the experience.

Great experience! Called and asked if they had time - they said yes, so I arrived in 10 minutes and was sat immediately, despite there being around 10 customers and what appeared to be a fully booked staff. They were able to scooch around a few staff and have a lady help me. First off, she did an amazing job. I got a clear acrylic set with a matte finish (she seemed thrown off by this look, but did it for me anyways and I love it!).Secondly...SHE SANG!! It was so awesome and nice to have a beautiful voice singing calming vietnamese songs while I had my nails done. She did not sing the whole time, but just enough to park a conversation in which lead to a few laughs as we both takled about our love of singing! Thirdly... she was very patient with my initial indecisive behaviour. And finally, she was very fast. Really just a great experience. Thanks so much :) :) (Found Ms. Nails & Spa after leaving Airdrie Nails & Spa who kept me waiting for quite a while despite them saying they were avilable - you can see my review on their location.)
I have been coming to MS Nails for quite some time because I like the way they do my nails. But, The technicians should communicate with the customer. Asking how they would like their nails done, and whether or not they like the job that was done. They don't need to carry on a long conversation, but, just casual communication would be professional. I was in a few days ago and my technician asked me very quickly what color I wanted and how short. That was it. The only time she showed any kindness or even smile was when I was paying. But, she did have ear buds in and spoke non stop with other employees. As a paying customer I would think that pleasing us should be the top priority.
