I've stopped shopping here. Produce has gone downhill and it seems that most of the staff don't want to be there. I have written into management regarding an issue months ago, and they couldn't be bothered to respond.
The variety of items they sell is great as are the prices. That being said, it's simply a horrible place to shop; staff are impossible to find, customers are typically rude and to top it off the checkout lines are lined up for 'miles'. Also; the whole loonie for the cart thing is a pain in the butt IMO.
This is our regular grocery store. We LOVE the click and collect service!! And the store is comprehensively laid out with decent selection. Also, earning PC Optimum points is a huge plus for us! Who doesn't like earning points and receiving discounts?! The one thing that could really use expanding, in my opinion, is their specialty foods section. I would love to see more options made available especially when it comes to gluten-free choices.
This store used to be my go to weekly grocery store. Within this past year everything has declined horribly. Today (and most times) there is no coffee mate creamer. Tons of what isnt popular. Today also no produce and out of early everything . I am so livid. I have had it with the super store. I will never be returning for anything ever. I have never heard so many excuses for why they are always out of stuff. One today was even they had a sale on the weekend....this is Wednesday. I sure hope Safeway is as good as they used to be. So disappointing!!!!
I love this superstore! Not just because I love the company, but the people there are all really friendly, know me well, and are very helpful! I can always find what I'm looking for there, maybe a few things I didn't. Prices are good and the store is always well organized and very clean.
