I love this store. You can find absolutely everything you need year round for all you crafting needs. They have everything from home decor( pre-made and diy) to jewelry to baking and candy making to knitting and crocheting with lots of yarns and wools to choose. They have stuff for kids crafts and scrapbooking and photography as well. The Airdrie store has also recently got the Laurdiy (diy YouTuber) diy kits that are every easy to do. I have already tried out one and it was so easy. They have art supplies from coloring books and sketch books to canvases and a variety of paints(water colors & oil base), pencils, markers, chalks, crayons and all the tools you could need for painting. They also have picture frames and the Airdrie location also has a picture framing center, where you can have custom frame work done. They also have seasonal stuff for all occasions too. Michaels also have classes you can take to learn different things.. check out their website for further details on their classes. But the best thing about the Airdrie location is the staff. They are incredibly helpful and polite and treat you with respect. They are very knowledgeable and try this best to make sure your doing ok and finding what your looking for. I highly recommend checking this location out. :)
I have been to this location before (with my kids) and never had an issue. Today my husband stopped by the pick up some craft supplies for our girls age 1yr and 4yrs, when he was leaving the cashier had the nerve to mutter to another staff member " Glad it's him and not me". The girls we loud as children are, but well behaved! How dare the staff here make comments like that about the customer and their children! Especially within ear shot of my 4 year old who clearly heard it! Apparently this is no longer a family friendly store and we missed that memo!
Always a pleasant time when I go there. The staff are always ready and willing to help. Kurstyn is a wonderful help and she always greets with a smile!

Every staff member was helpful and friendly. I still find it frustrating that the have US and CDN pricing on almost every item. Sometimes I wish they carried a better selection in some departments, but they carry so much. I get that you can't make everyone happy. I can usually find what I need cheaper somewhere else, but if I need it now, this is the best place to go!
