Let me start by saying we are reasonable people and it has taken a lot for us to write a bad review. We believe that people have off days, but this guy is off the charts We had ATA Appliance come in to repair our Samsung dryer (no heat) and this is where our nightmare began! We figured hiring an older repair guy that has been in the business for 27 years, would be our best bet. WRONG!!This guy is one of the most unprofessional and inexperienced repair guys I have ever come across. From needing to borrow tools to take apart the dryer, to arguing with my wife constantly, we were very disappointed in our experience. He doesnt even have the means to test anything. Instead of diagnosing the problem, he replaces parts hoping each time that it fixes the issue. After replacing the thermal fuse, heat coil, dryer Lilly and mother board, the dryer was still not fixed. After a bill for $509, we still had the same issue. He argues and says your vent is blocked, yet we show him pictures that it is not! I dont know, have a look yourself? Isnt that what you are there to do? He is unable to move the dryer himself. So after 4 visits and 2 weeks later, we finally asked him to come take his parts out and reimburse our money. While he was there, he cut his finger and left a nice blood trail throughout the house. He then proceeds to continue to tell us he is out $120 and he is not god. We said no, you are an appliance repair man. After hearing him say he isnt god half a dozen times, he gave us a cheque and left. My wife took a picture of the cheque and deposited into our account. One hour later, he shows up on my driveway and asks if he can have his cheque back and he will pay us in cash. Too lateWe then brought in another local Airdrie repair guy and he came in and repaired our dryer for a 3rd of what ATA was charging us. This guy actually had his own tools, tested the mother board (which was fine) and had us up and running. DO NOT USE ATA APPLIANCE! He is very rude and lacks the knowledge for his repairs. We really wish we had read the reviews on here previously
My washer was making loud noise, after I called ATA Appliances, he asked me questions and showed up very quick with the right part and fixed my washer the same day within few hours. Very satisfied. I will strongly recommend ATA Appliances.
Fast, Reasonable Price. The Gentleman knew exactly what he was doing. Diagnosed the leak in the washer quickly and I was lucky enough that he had the part installed. Washer is now running fine 20 mins and done. Best service call ever. Highly Recommend this company.
Extreamely UnproffessionalI called for service on a dishwasher. He came in with his wet boots on, never taking them off. He complained about the plumber who installed it wanting to know who it was. He also complained about our make of dishwasher. He told us, before he even started to look what was wrong, to just replace it. Our dishwasher is new! While he is working on it he's grumbling and cursing under his breath. Meanwhile, my husband and I are trying to also run our business. So, in between talking to him, we are also talking business. My husband asked me to find something for him, when I found it I told him. The repair man walked over to me and told me,"LET HIM DO ONE JOB AT A TIME! I was blown away. He was referring to him asking my husband to go get his own tools, as this man didn't have what he needed to do the job, and I was interrupting. Needless to say we asked him to leave and we would finish what was left. As you can tell, we didn't have to replace the dishwasher. He is rude, arrogant and disrespectful. I have never experienced anything like it from a repair service. Very upsetting.Edit
