They are withdrawing money from my account for a personal trainer I dont have? I've also contacted them and shown them the statements and have gotten zero response back from them. I really dont understand why they choose to run the business the way they do but it's horrible customer service.
I have heard many good things about this place and can always see people slaving away inside at night to attain a better body! (or at least justify eating a dozen donuts tomorrow which I would say is also worth their effort). Unfortunately the door is locked with a magical members only key, so alas I simply walk by everyday as I dream of a day I can be inside running towards the glass and the people in the street, praying there isn't a power outage that will send me head first through said glass.
DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM!!! THEY ARE A BUNCH OF THIEVES AND NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN!!!Was overcharged $19.50 because of an apparent late fee. How is that possible when it is automatically taken out of my account. I have over 5 thousand available on the account. No nsf fee or anything showing. On top of this I was fined $250 because a friend of mine helped me train. He told me he recently got his membership at anytime in Calgary. I was never warned of a fine ever. The person who runs this gym is a thief. On top of this shouldnt they call you and talk to you or email you atleast. Instead of finding out by scrolling through your bank statements. Very unprofessional management. Shady and snakeish business tacticsUpdate: After I notified the gym of their errors they stopped responding. I contacted BBB (Better Business Bureau) and they won't even reply to them. I called my bank to dispute the charges and we spoke to an anytime rep from their support line. They told me there was no notes left on my account to my apparent fine of why I was overcharged and that they would try and contact the gym directly. When they called the gym didnt answer. They told me they'd call me back the next day after they spoke with them. 2 weeks later and guess what. No phone call. Although I did receive a message from anytimes collectors to pay my monthly fee. I cancelled my current card in case the thief who runs this gym tries to overcharge me again. On top of this I had asked the owner to cancel my account and charge me the $124 left owing when this first happened. I Guess they didn't. I saved all the emails and bank statements as proof.
Gym itself is very nice and always clean, however had a really awful experience with my contact, and even after it was up money was still being withdrawn from my account for almost a year. To which point my boyfriend contacted them , because we each had memberships, and they basically told him it was his fault for not catching it sooner and wouldn't reimburse him. Do not waste your money, because the company itself doesn't seem to care about how it treats their customersEdit: I just read another review of a customer who was also having money withdrawn from her account after her contact was up. She recommended cancelling your credit card once your contract has ended, and I highly suggest the same.
I go here regularly and the gym is always clean and tidy. Never had to wait for equipment. Trainers and manager are friendly and very helpful to newcomers and regulars. Cleanest gym I have ever been a member of. Love it here.
