Had some issues when I arrived due to the renovations going on. I was starting to feel like Goldilocks; and was about to leave. Vic went above and beyond in making me happy and was extremely professional in addressing my travel-exhausted state. Im not sure what theyre paying him, but its not enough. I went from leaving a one-star review to this well deserved five-star review based solely on my interactions with one person here: Vic. If you come here, request to deal with him. You wont be disappointed!
Fairly dark and quiet, which is nice for a hotel. TVs kept going offline, but unplugging it, waiting a minute. Staff all super nice. Actually really good service. Property is being renovated so that kinda sucked, but the Genesis pass was really nice. Overall would stay here again, mostly based on price point, location and great staff.Addendum: we left some stuff in the hotel room and they bent over backwards to get it to us. Super impressed!
Just checked in, theres construction which we were never told about. We have kids with us who were excited to go into the pool but it is closed due to the construction, and they put us in a room right next to it so all we are hearing is drilling.. been here 30 minutes and Im already not impressed.... update, got woken up at 7:30 in the morning by hammers and drilling. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Do not recommend whatsoever
We just stayed at this hotel on August 22/18 was very disappointed that the water slide was not working and the pool was so cold it felt like the river the only plus side of the pool area was the hot tub was hot the way it should be. Wish they had a notification that the slide was down and would have saved us a booking. My kids were devastated. The room was nice and large with lots of room. Will only stay here if everything is working properly instead of online booking we will call all hotels and ask about the slides and pools going forward. Lesson learned.
Nice perks like popcorn and fresh ground coffee in the lobby. Big rooms, lots of space. Renovations but pool and waterside still available. Comfy stay, recommend it.
