The Wingate Hotel Airdrie is one of the most immaculate, clean and pleasing Hotels I have ever been in a very long time. I have traveled Internationally and have never received such outstanding service as I did here. Rhonda Oswald, Manager of the Wingate, was a delight as she made sure we were satisfied and well taken care of during our stay. her infectious personality and can do attitude was so refreshing and welcoming.She definitely deserves accolades for her efforts and attitude.The rooms were immaculately clean and well designed and styled. Comfortable and very cozy, we felt at home. This hotel deserves 5 stars and if you go there you'd discover why.Thank you Rhonda Oswald for your welcoming and infectious charming way.
We stayed here last minute (previous hotel didn't offer cribs) and boy are we glad we did! I had found a cheaper price online for a long size bed and the staff honoured the online price. All the staff were super friendly. (The evening girl was from Ontario like us and went above and beyond the entire check in process.) She immediately brought a crib up (I had to call 3 times at the fancy hotel we stayed at downtown Calgary earlier that week) She took me into the kitchen to fill up my water bottle. The breakfast selection was great, so many hot and cold options. The room was clean and well laid out. I would even say it was comparable to the fancy hotel down town Calgary. Our bill was wrong but the staff fixed it immediately. I have already recommended this hotel to my friends in Calgary!
Fantastic customer service! The place is really good and clean! For getting the discount from their awesome manager Rhonda I will definitely be coming back here and would reccommend to everyone! Jasmine (receptionist) did really a great job too! We couldnt ask for more. FYI: this is the FIRST time I participated to any reviews for hotels since I am pleased to share my wonderful experience here with them! Hopefully we can get the same deal when we book again
Nice clean rooms, surprisingly good complimentary breakfast. Couple minor things though, the signs which say which way to find you room (ex. Rooms 200-215 to the left, 216-230 to the right) are on the wrong wall so you do see it right away after exiting the elevator. Instead you see it as you walk toward the elevator. Also the sign said there was ice at towards the lower numbered rooms, but there wasn't. Had to go to the main floor for it. Also the doors to the bathroom slide open and shut but leave a big crack between the wall and the door so you can still see right in if you are someone concerned about privacy when using the washroom.
